Let's talk about your tagline on LinkedIn.
Let’s paint the picture.
When you use Instagram, and you keep scrolling through the feeds, you suddenly STOP at a post because you find something interesting or catchy like a cute cat video.
Then you say “Oh, cute cat video” and spend time on it.
And the same effect needs to happen on your LinkedIn profile. And the way to do that is by having a catchy tagline because it immediately grabs people's attention.
So say, for example, you were a manager, instead of just saying you're a manager at a company as your tagline. You could say something like “helping companies solve complex problems with simple solutions.”
When you have that catchy tagline, then immediately people will try to read further and try to see who you are.
So have a catchy tagline. Think of just like an Instagram profile.
“You have to grab people's attention.” So keep that in mind.
