How to PLAN YOUR DAY and stay SANE?

One of the most overlooked lifeskills is self-management because we often talk about time management.

But it’s a misnomer!

You cannot manage time. Time goes on whether we like it or not. We need to manage the way we work and prioritize tasks at a given time. Not everything is important.

The most successful people manage their tasks with the same level of commitment and seriousness as closing multi-million dollar deals. They know if they start focusing on the lower priority items, they are going to miss out on bigger opportunities by not focusing on the higher priority ones.

This is why planning your daily and weekly tasks is crucial to exponential growth. After talking to numerous successful people, and a lot of trial and error in my personal life...

I finally figured out a plan to manage my tasks. It has made me substantially more productive, and have recommended it to VP’s, Directors, and CTO’s I work with who have all found success with this skill.

How do you plan your day?

Currently, if you see everyone is working from home, and we're finding it so hard to manage our time and be productive.

Here are three quick things you could do right now to manage your time.

The first thing you want to do is write down a list of things you want to accomplish that particular day and do it the first thing in the morning, and then assign a number between 1 to 10. And your whole motto should be to finish the top three things that you have listed in your to do list.

During the day have time blocked sessions to focus on these top three items. And these time block sessions could be one hour or 45 minutes based on what your retention span is. And then finally, at the end of the day.

See what you've accomplished. on that particular day. And whatever you haven't accomplished, gets carried over to the next day. It'll be part of the next day's to do list and that's how you plan your day and manage your time.
