How can you Futureproof your organization and help employees grow?
How can you Futureproof your organization and help employees grow?
So here are five things you want to keep in mind to just do that.
Continue flexible work arrangements because with the pandemic, people have got used to balancing their work and life, their work in any way they can. And as long as they finish their tasks, you don't have to worry about it. So continue flexible work arrangements.
Provide the necessary resources and support your employees where they are.
So say for example, if an employee's working remotely, provide them headsets, laptops, cell phones, and anything which could really help them to perform at a really high level or remove those obstacles.
Train the leaders to adapt to the new way of working. The new way of working is remote teams, and distributed teams. You need to have frequent one-on-one meetings. You have to have a frequent check-in, and frequent team meetings. You need to have virtual happy hours.
Reward your employees because they work so hard during the pandemic and even in the post-pandemic. They're continuing to work hard. So reward them by giving them performance bonuses, promotions, and even small tokens of appreciation. Like thank you notes or small gift cards.
Have town hall meetings where employees can openly ask the leadership team, a lot of questions, and the leadership team can then address those concerns and give some clarifications. In that way, the employees feel connected to the company. They feel their voices are heard and there's less probability that they're gonna leave the company.
