Am I really good at coaching people?
a lot of people may have that question when they actually approach me.
Here's the real-life story to prove to you that I am good at what I do.
About 12 years ago. There was this person who I met, she was in sales. And she hated that job. She really wanted to do something else and she wanted to figure out what her next career path could be.
And once we started talking, I noticed that she was super curious and she had this knack of learning things quickly and she had attention to detail. Then I told her, “Hey, There's this field of software testing, where you need to have attention to detail and you have to figure out things quickly or to be creative and find out issues.”
I think you'll be really good at it. And if you're open to it, I can help you get into that field. And she said yes. So in two weeks I actually taught her the basics of databases, things you need to know in computer science, things you need to know if you join a software team for two weeks, I taught her stuff and then she went and attending interviews. And she got a job and the rest is history.
12 years down the line. Now she's an I.T consultant and also she's my wife.
So there you go, folks. I have a real-life story about how I helped my wife get into tech. So yes, I'm damn good at my job, especially when it comes to coaching and helping people. So if you are in that kind of situation, you know where to find me and I'm here to serve.
